Raccoontail is a light brown she-cat, about one foxlength in length, and about a foxlength when standing up straight. Raccoontail has a dark stripe accross her ce, making her appear like the little raccoon bandits.
Her tail is a fluffy one, striped light brown and black. Raccoontail has one large scar running down her maw, one on her rump and another across her stomach. She has many more incignificant scars over her body.
Raccoontail's eyes are a deep brown, like bark, and she has a dark brown nose, and large ears. Raccoontail always seems to frown, but will sometimes smile, not very often though.
Raccoontail's ce, apart from the stripe across her eyes, is covered in many smaller stirpes. She also has poofed out fur where her cheeks are, making her look more like a raccoon.
Raccontail is a slender she-cat, but tough and lean, also rather lithe and a st runner. She can climb trees better than most cats too. She does often get bad cases of cracked paws though.

the attitude behind that ce

Raccoontail is a hardened she-cat, through all her life she has seen many battles, too many she sometimes says. Raccoonstar is no longer the happy, generous and thoughtful kit she used to be. Raccoonstar is bitter towards Shadowclan and Riverclan. She is also bitter towards many other cats.
Raccoontail is very suspiscious of any name starting with 'Flight'. She believes that Starclan lay a curse upon that name as they did with 'Tiger'. She is a strong willed cat, always willing to hear new ideas, no matter how stupid they sound.
She is no longer rash like the apprentice she once was, she knew that from the day Flightstream was killed that she should think over her moves more carefully. Raccoontail is also very secretive, and rather much a lay about.
Raccoontail is rather sarcastic, stating the obvious at times. The clan does not hate her, but she does get annoying at times.

what made her who she is today

When Raccoontail was born as Raccoonkit, she was born to a cat named Deerce, the most beautiful cat in Riverclan. However, Deerce's mate was a Thunderclan cat, and she had accepted that her mate, Flighttalon, wanted a kit. She'd had three, Raccoonkit, Foxkit and Rustkit. She took them to the border between Riverclan and Thunderclan, but she was attacked by a cat named Howl. Howl killed Deerce, but Flighttalon arrived before he could kill any of his kits.
Flighttalon took all three kits back to Thunderclan, afraid that Riverclan would try to claim them, but to this day, they never have.
Flighttalon actually had a mate in Thunderclan, called Fireypelt, and as she had lost her kits, he asked her to care for them. Fireypelt asked where they were from, and Flighttalon replied that a rogue had killed their loner mother, and he rescued them. He felt very guilty about the reason of his two mates.
Raccoonkit, Foxkit and Rustkit grew up as the only kits in the nursery, playing with the youngest apprentices, and each other.
On the night of their apprenticeship, Howl returned for more. Fireypelt was killed, and Flighttalon killed Howl in revenge for killing both his mates.
Rustpaw was apprenticed to a she-cat named Waterce, Foxpaw to a tom named Pumpkinfeet, and Raccoonpaw was apprenticed to the leader, Applestar. Applestar was on her last few lives, and during a raid by Willowclan, was killed by another she-cat.
The deputy, who was Flighttalon, took Raccoonpaw, Bearstream and Reedpaw to the Highstones, and when he emerged, he had been driven mad by what he saw, killing Bearstream and fleeing forever.
The two apprentices, terrified of what their leader had become, fled back to Thunderclan, almost being attacked by a Windclan patrol. They tumbled into the camp, both only 7 moons old, stumbling over their words, and what had happened. Flightstar's third mate, Sheepeyes, collapsed, bearing her kits early, and dieing. Raccoonpaw was angry at everything. Her mother, and her step mother had died, and her ther had been driven mad by Starclan.
A tom called Shootingsomethingorother was made into Shootingstar, and Featherwing was made deputy. Raccoonpaw received her third mentor here, named Smudgedpelt. Three moons later, aged 10 moons, she was made into Raccoontail. Her brother Foxpaw was now Foxfeet, and Rustpaw was Rustpelt.
Raccoontail received her first apprentice at 13 moons, a young she-cat called Flightpaw. Raccoontail was apprehensive at first, thinking this kit would turn out like her ther, but she pressed on training her hard.
One day, several moons later, they were attacked by a Riverclan patrol. One of the toms thought he recognised Raccoontail as one of the kits who had gone missing almost two years ago. Raccoontail strongly denied the toms accusations, saying her ther was the estranged Flightstar, and her mother was the late Fireypelt. The tom laughed ather, telling her her real mother was a she-cat called Deerpelt, who's body they found several days after her dissapearance, but no kits in sight, and the smell of a Thunderclan tom.
Raccoontail and Flightpaw fought the three cats, managing to kill the two warriors, and letting the apprentice, who told them she was Poppypaw, go, to tell the clan that Raccoontail was never going back there.
On the night of Flightpaw becoming Flightstream, on her silent vigil, Shadowclan attacked them, killing Flightstream. Raccoontail was enraged, attacking the leader of Shadowclan, Stripedstar, and maiming him. As their leader was dieing, Shadowclan made a hasty retreat.
Raccoontail was 25 moons old, just reached her second year, and her brother and his mate, Rustpelt and Stonefur had three kits, Earthkit, Firekit and Greykit. Raccoontail was thrilled, but she knew no tom would take her in her clan.
Then the deputy, Featherwing died, and Shootingstar made Foxfeet deputy. However, in another attack by Shadowclan, he was blinded, and Shootingstar died. The naming of the new leader and deputy fell upon the blind Foxfeet. He chose Reedclaw to be the leader, and would let Reedclaw choose who was to be his deputy. Reedclaw's eyes darted between the young Raccoontail and and the experienced Ionclaw, and to Raccoontail's anger, he chose Ionclaw over her.
However, they were raided by Riverclan, who stole away Stonefur and her kits, saying they would never return them unless Rustpelt joined them. So he reluctantly did, so Raccoontail had a brother in another clan, and a blind brother. She was not a happy cat. Soon Ionstar died, and the deputy came to be leader.
Racoontail had trained Flightstream, Gingerfur, Thistlece and was training another apprentice, Pumpkinpaw.
